Contact Congress: Our government is spending billions to create costly liquid biofuels that will take years to implement and still tie you to an expensive and vulnerable infrastructure. At present, there is no federal funding available for projects like ours to develop efficient, cost-free, and clean energy to power your personal home and vehicle. Help us to secure the proper funding to get these systems to market by educating congress that this option exists.

I recently saw a truck that runs on wood and other solid biomass fuels. The processor that creates the fuel for the truck could also provide electricity and heat to my home using my own wood, debris, and waste. This is not a polluting "woodstove on wheels," but a very sophisticated process that captures a gaseous fuel from the wood through an improved form of gasification, a technology that was used during World War II. It is very clean and only emits carbon dioxide and water.

This seems like a very practical energy solution that could help our nation meet its energy goals. It would allow me to enjoy the security of knowing I no longer needed to depend on foreign oil and the comfort of knowing I am not polluting our environment. And it delivers on these promises now. With proper funding, these systems could be available to the public in a year.

I know there are billions of tax dollars going toward the research and development of liquid biofuels. I am asking that some also be allocated for this solid-fuel gasification technology. I want to know that I can operate independently of the current infrastruction should I want to ... or ever need to in case of disaster.
